House Card and Matching-Rank Rules
Andar Bahar begins with a reference card, often called the house card or Joker. Cards are then dealt to the named sides according to the version’s sequence until a card matches the reference rank. The winning main side is the side receiving that qualifying match. The word Joker here need not mean a printed wild joker card.
If the house card is a six, a later six is the relevant rank match. A card of the same suit but a different rank does not satisfy that basic condition. The dealer is not building a poker hand or adding totals toward 21. The initial reference card establishes the target, while the subsequent dealing sequence determines when and where it appears. The table’s rules specify which side receives the first dealt card and any special payout treatment.
